In a year when every wedding was my favorite wedding, this one was my extra favorite!!! I flew on a red eye to make it back from Lauren + Will's Vegas wedding just so I could be a part of this. I fell in love with this couple, and I guarantee you will, too!
This pair is rooted in the Manayunk community, where they lived before moving into the bride's family's farmhouse last summer. You will see touches of Manayunk throughout their day. The bride wore Rebecca Shoneveld which she had purchased from a friend at her bridal boutique on Main St. And many other Manayunk faces were to be seen throughout the day.
This couple's wedding day philosophy was so level, and one I am trying to embrace in my own wedding planning. They focused on the fun and the people, and didn't get overwhelmed by unimportant minutiae. You could tell they had put thought and care into planning personal details for the day, but once it arrived, they let go and enjoyed the ride. GOALS. I have to credit Caroline's grandmother's influence for the calm and down to earth mood of the day. She is a true matriarch, one that could keep the whole world grounded.
My favorite details were the bride's ceremony gloves (lady AF) and the couple's matching wedding day wrist tattoos (X + O). Not to mention their natural bouquets.
Thank you to Jessica Flynn for shooting with me!
