Dusty Rose + the Girl Gang: A styled shoot with Q/A Event Designs

Before Spring had even had the chance to have sprung, some of my favorite ladies gathered at Grace Winery for a little styled shoot. Creative director Kendall of Q|A Event Designs envisioned the ideal bridal morning, and the most dreamy tablescape to boot.

The incredibly talented Shimmer and Spice made up all the pretty faces, and Arielle Katrina manned the manes. Jessica Flynn co-shot with me, and Dan Reiner created a short highlight film. Afterwards, we all sipped wine with the Grace team and pet the horse and donkeys. Literal dreams.

One of my favorite aspects of the shoot was incorporating a mini boudoir shoot into the getting ready rituals. I was able to do this with real bride Sarah, and it was amazing. Benefits: no extra cash for a boudoir session, which can add up especially if you rent a space for it; you'll have your veil and other bridal accessories to incorporate; and your photographer can probably get them to you for a Honeymoon-isn't-over surprise for your honey before you're even back from your trip.

We had the most delightful brunch from the chef at grace. And unlike 'real models' ours ate it all! Well...I helped a little. shrugs.

Special thanks to everyone's new BFF, Jesse, for modeling for us and for being just the most lovely human.
